Bongo's story carries the weight of betrayal — he had an owner who simply left him. He has been in our shelter for two years, and staying in the crowd and noise is very difficult for him. Bongo is a mixed breed of Hungarian vižla, a breed known for its exceptional emotionality and affection, so shelter life breaks his heart. The past makes him a little suspicious of new people at first, but as soon as he realizes that you are well-intentioned, he relaxes and shows his true, infinitely cuddly side. About Bongo: ✨ Gentle and loyal – he is extremely good to adults and quickly gains confidence when he feels secure. He 🏡 dreams of peace – he prefers a more peaceful environment, which is why we do not recommend him to families with young children. 🐕 Getting along with dogs – he is good with other dogs; he does not like dominant and aggressive muzzles, but he is stable and does not get into conflicts. She walks 🦮 nicely – on a leash she is a very good and pleasant companion. 🐱 Important note for cats – Bongo doesn't get along with cats, so she's looking for a home without cats. ⚠️ A true athlete – as a true Vizla mongrel, he is extremely nimble and can easily jump the fence, so he needs a well-enclosed space or walks under supervision.
