Winter arrived at our shelter in February this year, after she was found wandering disoriented in the middle of nowhere — apparently, someone simply threw her out and drove away. But the ugly start didn't break her faith in people. Winter is a German Shepherd mix that carries all the most beautiful features of the breed: loyalty, wit and endless affection. Why Winter is the dog you'll fall in love with: ✨ Cuddly and good-natured – Winter is an exceptional pet with a gentle disposition towards people, constantly looking for contact and warmth. ✨ Extremely affectionate – her man is the whole world to her; she is happiest when she is with you and learning new things. ✨ Smart and bright – like a real shepherd, she quickly understands the rules and enjoys work and walks. 🐕 Relationship with other dogs – Winter is fine with other dogs, but as a real "sheepdog" she has a pronounced leader trait and likes everything her way. This can lead to conflict if the other dog is disobedient or dominant, so she stays in the shelter alone. She would do best as the only dog in the family where she would have all the attention for herself, or with very experienced foster parents who know how to direct her character. Cat 🐱test – we do not know how it reacts to cats, but we will gladly do a test if the foster parents have a cat.
